1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Arven Digital ("Company", "we", "us"), the operator of SubScout, available at subscout.live. By creating an account or using our service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use SubScout. You must be at least 18 years old to use our service.

2. Service Description

SubScout is a subscription tracking and management platform that allows individuals and families to monitor recurring expenses, track renewal dates, and gain insight into their subscription spending. The service is available via web browser, desktop application, and future mobile platforms.

SubScout employs end-to-end encryption (E2EE) to protect your subscription data. Your data is encrypted on your device before being stored on our servers, meaning we cannot access the content of your subscription records.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account at hello@subscout.live
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Not share your account with others (Family plan members must be invited separately)

You are responsible for maintaining access to your recovery credentials. Because of our end-to-end encryption model, we cannot recover your encrypted data if you lose access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SubScout to:

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely claim an affiliation
  • Transmit unsolicited commercial communications (spam)
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Use automated scripts or bots to scrape or interact with the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
  • Store content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these provisions without prior notice.

5. Subscription Plans and Pricing

SubScout offers three service tiers:

Free Plan

Track up to 15 subscriptions at no cost. Includes Google AdSense advertisements. No payment required.

Premium Plan — $4.99/month

Unlimited subscriptions, no ads, advanced analytics, and priority support. Billed monthly via Lemon Squeezy.

Family Plan — $9.99/month

All Premium features plus family sharing for up to 5 members. Billed monthly via Lemon Squeezy.

All prices are in USD and exclude any applicable local taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

6. Payment Terms

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service. We do not store your payment card details.

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.

By providing payment information to Lemon Squeezy, you authorize them to charge the applicable fees on a recurring basis.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting Lemon Squeezy directly. Upon cancellation, your paid features will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within 7 days of your first payment, contact us at hello@subscout.live for a full refund.

After 7 days, all sales are final except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in SubScout — including the software, design, logos, trademarks, and content we create — are owned exclusively by Arven Digital and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain full ownership of the data you enter into SubScout. By using our service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from SubScout's interface or code without our prior written consent.

9. Data Export and Portability

You may export your subscription data at any time via Settings → Export Data. Your data will be provided in a structured, machine-readable format. We do not lock you into our platform and support data portability as a core principle.

10. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to SubScout. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary service unavailability.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

SubScout is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arven Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of SubScout, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of profits.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to SubScout in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10.00 USD if you are on the free plan.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arven Digital, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of SubScout, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Account deletion will permanently remove all your data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if required by law. We will provide notice where feasible.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SubScout shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mersin, Turkey.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence will apply and are not affected by this choice of law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of SubScout after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
